Move On
The Challenge
Move On was created during an Apithon design challenge focused on exploring new digital solutions for urban mobility.
The challenge was to encourage people to rethink how they move around the city and make more sustainable transportation choices part of their everyday routine.
Our concept transformed those choices into something visible and measurable, helping users understand the environmental impact of their journeys while encouraging more sustainable habits.
From Concept
to Experience
We explored the needs and motivations of different types of commuters and translated those insights into personas, user flows, and an information architecture for the experience.
The concept evolved through low-fidelity wireframes before defining the visual language and interaction patterns for the final mobile experience.
Research & Personas
Understanding different commuting behaviors, motivations, and transportation needs.
Information Architecture
Organizing the experience around mobility, progress, environmental impact, and personal goals.
Wireframing
Exploring the core journeys and progressively refining the experience before moving into visual design.
UI System
Creating a consistent visual language through typography, color, navigation, icons, buttons, and reusable interface patterns.
The Solution
The final concept combined journey tracking with personal goals and environmental metrics, creating a more engaging way to visualize the impact of sustainable transportation choices.
Users could see indicators such as trees contributed, CO₂ reduction, and kilometers traveled, turning otherwise abstract sustainability metrics into understandable personal achievements.
The experience also included a personalized profile where users could follow their progress, set objectives, and view their contribution over time.
Move On was awarded second place in the Apithon design challenge.
